You will be aware of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into force on 25th May 2018. PAKAM must be compliant with this regulation.
Our Observers will receive personal data belonging to Associates and non-members who wish to take Taster drives. You may also have email exchanges with our Observers and you may have electronic run sheets created on your behalf.
While this is all covered by the iAM RoadSmart contract the Group has to ensure that we do not retain this data any longer than is required.
Once an Associate has completed their course, or should they do not complete it and come to the end of their Associate year, PAKAM will delete all contact details, emails and run sheets from our systems.
In the case of a Taster drive, the Observer will forward an assessment form to the Chief Observer who will retain this document for a maximum 28 days unless the client then purchases an Advanced Driver programme.
